Shane Hill and Natalie Maclean Duo

Shane Hill graduated from Leeds College of Music with a first and has gone on to record and perform with some of the UK's finest jazz musicians. He has performed at Ronnie Scott's the 606 Club and in many festivals both as a member of the Dick Pearce Quartet and the Latin/ Jazz outfit Kymaera. As a session musician he has played on recordings featuring Mary J Blige, Lionel Ritchie and Sophie Ellis Bextor to mention but a few. He has also authored a book on jazz guitar and lectured on jazz courses.

Natalie Maclean from her early teenage years has had a passion for singing jazz having originally heard the greats on a Readers Digest Jazz compilation. She furthered her stage craft fronting the Surrey Youth Jazz Orchestra - performing in theatres and club dates with the ensemble. She has a repertoire covering Latin, Jazz, Blues and Soul standards and can also accompany herself on the piano. She is currently studying voice and piano at Birmingham Conservatoire of Music and is building a strong reputation in jazz circles for her expressive soulful vocal delivery.
